Swim With Dolphins In Hawaii
Since Dolphin Discovery acquired Sea Life Park Hawaii, this well-liked Oahu oceanic park has undergone a facelift and widened its activities and attractions, especially interactive Dolphin activities, where guests can swim with dolphins in Hawaii!
Dolphin Cove, a beautiful coast lagoon, with its very own island, hosts 3 interactive dolphin programs every day. All three activities allow participants to learn about everyday dolphin life and to interact with them in an intimate and educational adventure.
In a 45-minute program, Dolphin Encounter provides participants as young as one year old with the chance to pet, learn about and even kiss these friendly creatures. Visitors learn about the fascinating world of dolphins, and observe them from a waist-high stage as they perform high-energy stunts and tricks.
For anyone eight or older, Dolphin Swim Adventure, lets participants join the instructors and dolphins as they put on their 45-minute show. It not only includes an individual training session with the trainers, but the opportunity to view dolphins up-close and personal. This experience concludes with a belly–ride where a dolphin carries participants across the surface of the water while they hold on to the fins. ‘Exhilarating and thrilling’ are fitting descriptors for Dolphin Royal Swim—it is the best dolphin interactive program on Oahu. It includes what is called a “dorsal tow,” where two dolphins take participants on a ride as they hold on to their fins. The “foot push” is the most amazing moment; guests can feel all the power and energy of these incredible underwater animals, as they push them across the pool from the bottom of their feet.
Opened in 1964, Sea Life Park is only 15 miles from Waikiki on Oahu’s picturesque Makapuu Point, perched amid the majestic Koolau Mountain Range and awe-inspiring Makapuu Beach. While you are in Hawaii, do not let this once-in-a-lifetime chance to play among dolphins pass you by.
